Thank you SO much to everyone who turned up to make the first North Street Sounds such a special day.

We had an absolute blast, with some beautiful afternoon soul from streetsofsoul, and an amazing high-energy evening set with the incredibly talented The Slimline Shufflers. The whole of North Street was buzzing with energy so we can't thank you all enough for coming out in the rain and supporting local venues and musicians.

Can't wait for next year!

We're making Spritz and soul a thing this weekend to tie in some tasty cocktails with our music line-up for the first ever festival! 🍹🎙️🎶

walkable music festival is coming up this weekend! This first year will see shops, restaurants and more across our lovely little neighbourhood transformed into music venues (if they're not already). The idea being you can walk around and catch a free gig all down North Street on Saturday and Sunday. 🎶🥁🪇🎸

Loads of unmissable events are happening at Spirited this June, and if you're into whisky or rum, you'll want to keep swiping. 🙌🥃

We're kicking things off with a tasting hosted by Marcos McCurley from Brave New Spirits, followed by an evening with Hugo Silm and the art-inspired whiskies of Cut Your Wolf Loose.

Katy then takes the reins for a special tasting featuring high age statement, smoky drams from Islay's largest working distillery, Caol Ila.

Father's Day weekend sees our first-ever dedicated rum event - The Great Big Summer Rum Tasting. Expect 30+ rums to sample, alongside food from Agnes Spencer's Amazing Amazing Jamaican Cuisine.

We'll also be joined by Lindores, a distillery known for having one of the longest fermentation periods in the industry. Before rounding off the month with a tasting from Deanston, known for its waxy, honeyed Highland malts and traditional production methods.

AND that's before we mention the first North Street Sounds walkable music festival next weekend, our weekly Sunday live jazz sessions, blues night, Butch's Listening Party and Oppo Comedy night with Amy Annette.

Upfest cocktail on tour! 😎🍹🎨

We took our special takeaway Meltdown cocktail for a little trip round some of the awesome new street art additions that have popped up across Southville and Bedminster for this year's festival - which ends this Sunday. 

So if you fancy sipping on one of these delightful rum drinks (or plenty of others too) then you can grab them from the bar anytime we're open on Friday or Saturday this weekend only. See you there.

This month, staff picks for Tropical Month are all our faves.

Josh: I picked the Fiji because it’s the first thing I tasted at Spirited when we opened. I’ve been in the industry for years and I’d never tried it. Really different, delicious rum. So fruity.

Abi: I love Three Star. Such a flavourful & versatile rum. Yum banana-y rum that’s great on its own and makes a very delish daiquiri.

Katy: I feel like it’s simple stuff but look, I love a Bounty Bar, and here it is presented to me in rum form. How could I have another favourite rummy drink?

Only one month to go until our first ever dedicated rum event - The Great Big Summer Rum Tasting! 🎉🥃☀️

You'll be able to come and sample more than 30 rums, meet the makers, enjoy food from - and leave with a goodie bag, which includes a £5 voucher to spend in the shop.

🍹 It's all about rum and tropical-inspired serves for us this month! And that's why we're running a special menu with Planteray rum, which includes this delicious El Presidente XO - and our Upfest takeaway cocktail, which has been flying out the door.

Takeaway cocktails to sip whilst you watch the 🎨!

has returned and we know how much everyone loves to watch the action - so for the next three weekends (Fridays and Saturdays only), we'll have delicious cocktails available to take away from the bar.

Here’s a great option called Meltdown from our Tropical Month Menu! Made with Planteray 3 Star, Ferrand Tropical Curacao, solero syrup, lime and bitters. It's a drink to be enjoyed in the sunshine - and yes that's a creamy ice lolly garnish! 🍦
