MARTHA'S MILD — 5.3% — Teignworthy Brewery
Brewed twice a year. Rarely seen in Bristol. And this time? NO ONE else got a delivery. Only us.

Half wheat, half barley — with a beautiful hint of marmalade.
One of Vince's latest creations — from right here in Bristol.

Both of these are pouring now at The Red Monkey. 🎉

Pouring this weekend at The Red Monkey — on the stupendously en vogue Chandos Road!

🍺 Teignworthy Brewery — Newton Abbot

They visit Bristol just twice a year, delivering their incredibly quaffable beers to a tiny, select handful of hostelries. Don’t sleep on this!

🔴 Martha’s Mild — 5.3% | Strong Mild

Sweet, dark, ruby-red beauty — described as “almost identical to Sarah Hughes Dark Red Ruby”. South West Regional Winner 2017. Rich, biscuity, perfectly balanced. A proper rare treat.

🟡 Gun Dog — 4.3% | Pale Bitter

Easy-drinking, session-perfect pale bitter. Smooth, satisfying, dangerously moreish.

(When this goes, we swap it for Ashley Down “Beer” — another absolute stunner from our man Vince down the road!)

🟢 Cascade & Olicana Blonde — 3.8% | Pale Ale

Rarely seen outside the Oxford Street arches of Little Martha Brewing. Light, zesty, beautiful — it won’t last long!

🔵 Coming soon… Smart Big Fish — 4.3% | Vale Brewery Co (Bucks)

Common as muck back home, but lesser spotted round these parts — keep your eyes peeled!

There’s nowhere we’d rather be. The Red Monkey feels truly privileged to reside in the very heart of Redland, on the revered Chandos Road — surrounded by brilliant neighbours, great company, and the finest community around.

And to demonstrate the fineness of this community, tomorrow — Saturday — sees many gather to keep our streets clean and tidy with the monthly neighbourhood litter pick.

✅ Want to lend a hand? Meet at The Kenny (corner of Kensington & Stanley Roads) for a 10:30am start. Just bring gloves — all other equipment is provided!

✅ Can’t join the pick? No problem at all — head straight to The Red Monkey from 11:30am, where a warm welcome awaits everyone! We’ll have FREE tea, coffee, squash & biscuits ready and waiting.

It’s been just 3 weeks since we launched our Red Monkey Loyalty Card… and what a start!

We’ve had 37 full cards completed – that works out to 35 pints claimed, plus 2 well-earned halves for anyone pacing themselves! 🍻
