Delighted to welcome Imogen Ryall and her jazz trio back to the Rock today at 5.30pm! 🎶🎼🎤

Twice nominated in the 2024 Parliamentary Jazz Awards (Best Vocalist and Best Album), Imogen Ryall has proved herself one of the leading voices of the UK jazz scene, championed by Claire Martin OBE and many others.

Her album ‘The Mingus/Mitchell Songbook’ (Rubicon Classics), was included in the list of "Best Albums of 2023" by five independent reviewers including JazzWise, All About Jazz and The NYC Jazz Record

Much in demand as a lyricist, she showcased her impressive penmanship on the album, ‘Songs’, co-written with the lauded Czech pianist and composer, Emil Viklický (Rubicon Classics 2024)

Imogen has performed at many of the major UK jazz venues and headlined at top UK Festivals including Watford Jazz Junction; Cambridge Jazz Festival and Cafe Posk’s Festival of Jazz Voice

We've had to keep this one under wraps a little bit, but we are super excited that Americana band Blue Sky Falling will be playing a special one-off gig at the Rock tonight at 8pm!

Blue Sky Falling are a three-piece acoustic band from Brighton featuring Stewart Gray (vocals and 12 string acoustic guitar), Del Hallett (vocals and percussion), and Barry Wickens (ex Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel) on violin/mandolin/guitar and vocals. Their first Album “Last Chance Saloon” was released in July 2025 and they are currently recording their second album- The band have a distinctive Americana feel and the song writing is influenced by the Wild west and TV shows and Films of the 1950s-1960s.
