Today marks a big milestone for one of our employees, my second in command and friend Sue.

She has worked for the Yachtsmans for 20 years today! Wow!
We’ve had the pleasure of having her as part of our team for 8 of those years and we’ve certainly had many laughs, tears, celebrations, tough times and of course broken bones! (please don’t break anymore) 😂

Sue thank you for your loyalty, thank you for putting up with us all, being the mum to the team, thank you for looking after everyone.

Here’s to 20 more years 😉

So come down, buy Sue a drink & ask her what her favourite memory of her time here is, she’s definitely got some stories to tell! 🩷

Our pubs, restaurants, cafes, hotels, leisure venues, nightclubs and many more, are at the heart of our communities. From a day out with your kids to a night out with friends, hospitality brings people together.

They bring people together and bring life to our cities, towns and villages, but they're under huge pressure from rising costs.

In the UK, you pay one of the highest VAT rates in Europe. 20% extra in VAT for your meal out or stay away. In France, Spain and Italy, it's 10%. In Germany? 7%.

Our message to Government is simple. Let's stand together to say VAT at 10% is fair for hospitality.

Supporting this campaign is about supporting the future of British hospitality.
