The council have popped a sign up where we were stung.

They are mining bees.

Duke clearly disturbed them which made them attack.

No permanent harm done and we do need to look after them all 😊

For those that don’t know… tomorrow (Saturday) is the very cool and FREE ‘Fresh Air Festival’..!!

11am to 5pm on the Promenade Green.

It’s amazing for everyone and really not to be missed!!

We are currently in the emergency vets with Duke.

This is just a warning to other dog owners / children.

We were out with Duke in the lozenge for less than 15 minutes and we got descended on by a swarm of bees.

Duke has been severely stung, all over. Alex and I were also stung.
We really struggled get the bees off of him, they kept continuing to come back and sting.

Thank goodness for emergency veterinary care. They are keeping him in for a while and giving him medication.
They removed at least 10 stings from his legs, paw and mouth 😞
Thank goodness no stings inside his mouth or throat from what they can see.

I will contact Glendenning Farm to see if they can remove the swarm.

Just want to do a personal thank you, to all of you that keep choosing us.

We were full to the brim last night, with no entertainment on.

We never take this for granted.

Thank you to my two girls that were on the bar last night as well, it also happened to be our Lauren’s first shift! Straight in to the deep end. She absolutely smashed it.

Today we will be taking Duke to the Lido at 1pm for his yearly hour of fun so if you see us, come and say hi 🐾
