I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the reopening of The Shoes such an incredible success.

Overwhelmed doesn’t even begin to describe how I’m feeling right now. From the friends and family who helped with decorating, paperwork, and heavy lifting, to a wonderful local business owner who took time away from her own decorating business to lend a hand purely in the spirit of community — we are so grateful for every bit of support.

And to all of you who came along to celebrate with us on opening day, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. At the time It felt as though thousands of you walked through our doors, and the welcome we’ve received has been truly heartwarming.

Thank you for welcoming us so warmly as your new landlord and landlady. We appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to becoming part of this fantastic community and making you proud. 🫶🏼🍻

It’s safe to say the weather is not playing ball today!
But it shall not dampen our spirits, we have a plan for you to stay warm, dry, fed and closer to the bar 🍻😉

So I think we’re almost there!
I’m afraid the phones are still down but from 12 tomorrow we will be open!
Please bare with us on any teething problem😅

We’re having a problem with our phone lines so unfortunately can’t take any booking through the phone but feel free to drop me a WhatsApp 07956156159 or message on here.
We will have bar snacks Saturday and the bbq on from 1:30ish!

Then this Sunday we will be doing hot beef baguettes with roast potatoes and gravy.

The Sunday carvery will start from 14th so don’t worry there’s plenty of time for us to sort the phones an to get you booked in!

We will be serving hot food in the evenings from next week but we will have a limited menu until we find our feet!
