Big day tomorrow, hope we will see you at some point during the day.

Unfortunately we have had to take the decision to cancel the dog show, will be too hot for our four legged friends.

All welcome to bring picnic stuff, table and chairs, and don't forget the hats and sun cream!

We have an addition to our events, for Saturday next week, 13 June. We have a DJ disco night starting from 8pm, with music and dancing to ska, disco, dance, rock and pop. It's just a dj and dance night, so come and enjoy a drink or two and have a good time., the more the merrier!

Congratulations to member number 55, this month's winner of the monthly draw, £25 to their account.

Been a busy few weeks, but now things focus on the World Cup, which starts next week, Thursday 11 June, the first game being Mexico vs South Africa, 8pm kick off.

The England games are :

Wednesday 17 June, vs Croatia at 9.00 pm
Tuesday 23 June, vs Ghana at 9.00 pm
Saturday 27 June, vs Panama at 10.00 pm

We will be running an offer, whistle to whistle, for the England games only, of £1 off beer, lager, cider and wine, so come and cheer on the boys and have a pint or two!

We will be showing all the other games as they fit in with our usual opening hours.

Sorry to advise that the snooker room will be unavailable at Wethersfield Club, Thursday to Saturday this week, as as we have 2 big functions taking place and the room is needed. The pool table will still be available. Apologies for any inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.

Coming up tomorrow night, Thursday, we have our regular open mic might, hope to see some of the local fabulous performers from 7.30pm.

We also have an open mic stage at the Village Summer Solstice celebration on Saturday 20 June, come and join us there too!

Saturday 23 May we have our good friends The Beer Valley Drifters with us, performing from 8pm, so we hope you can be with us for that night.

We would like to apologise to all who experienced issues with pump ales and lagers at the Club on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, when we had run out of gas and were unable to obtain further supplies from Gallos as there was a shortage countrywide. We are pleased to advise we now do have a replacement supply of gas, delivered today, and have taken steps to ensure that this problem, should it happen again, is dealt with more effectively. Apologies again, and we hope it didn't impact too much on the enjoyment of your visit on those two evenings. Thanks.

A busy Saturday coming up this week, with the FA Cup Final at 3.00pm between Chelsea and Manchester City, let's hope it's a good match.

Then we have the Club AGM which is open to current members only. Please be in the Club for a prompt start at 8.00pm, as latecomers will not be admitted once the meeting has started.

The following week we have our regular open mic night, on Thursday 21 May so come and give us a song, play us a tune or just listen to those that do, 7.30pm.

Finally Saturday 23 May, we have our good friends the Beer Valley Drifters entertaining us from 8.00pm.
