Update:- Today’s event raised £375 from admission money/donations, which along with a £100 contribution from Eden Tree Caravaners, brought the total to £475!!
Added to the £1570 from our darts tournament, the total is £2045. Incredible!!!!! We can never thank the village enough!! Bless you all!!

The plan was originally for around 30 kids, a few games, some dancing and raise a few bob for our Children’s Hospital Charity!

Bradwell had other ideas! Almost 60 kids plus their parents packed the pub, all in fantastic Halloween Costumes! We had to abandon the games (it was just too chaotic!) substituted a bouncy castle and a craft table and finished the evening with nuggets, sausages, pizza and chips followed by donuts and Halloween buns!! Excellent two hours entertainment for a fiver donation to our charity!!

This event concludes our present round of fundraising for George’s Snowflake appeal and PACT. As soon as we have a final figure, we will announce the total.

From a personal point of view, I would like to extend a massive vote of thanks to Sophie for taking on this huge task once again and to Alex, Zoe , Seb, Evie and James for support today.

Thank you Bradwell for once again getting behind Emily, Dave and George and helping us send yet another donation to our favourite charity!

Due to the amount of children we have down for our Halloween party, we have had to stop taking any more names and are declaring the party full.

This event has been extremely popular and we will look at doing something similar in the future.

Just to say that since our darts knockout and raffle were so well supported, we have already reached our target for getting George his snowflake.
With this in mind, Emily and Dave have asked whether funds from our next event, the kid’s Halloween party, can be donated to PACT, an organisation based at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, who offer practical support to parents whilst their children are receiving treatment.
We also hope to raffle hampers closer to Christmas supporting this fabulous facility. Watch this space!

Well.. there’s not much more I can say other than THANK YOU to our wonderful community and everyone who supported our Snowflake fundraiser.

33 players turned up for the darts knock-out and an amazing amount of raffle tickets were sold.

So many people have helped me make tonight a success. Helping organising the night, scoring games, playing darts and buying raffle tickets! Your continued support means so much to us 💕

I am so happy to announce that we have already raised a fantastic amount of £1560! Which means that the amazing George will have his name on a snowflake outside the Children’s Hospital!

Our Charity darts knockout is tomorrow!

Raffle tickets are still available to buy until 5pm tomorrow if anyone wishes to buy some.
Darts registration starts at 4pm. If anyone wishes to play but can’t make the 4pm registration please message me and I can pop you in the draw and schedule your match for a later one.
All abilities welcome, as are spectators 😊

All proceeds from entry fees and raffle tickets will go to the fundraiser.

After a VERY successful knock-out last December (£2000 raised), we’ve decided to do it again!

A quick reminder:-
We are starting re-surfacing work on The Shoulder car park, this Monday, 14th September.
This requires the area to be kept car free, so we will be unable to offer school parking Monday/Tuesday and possibly further into the week. We will keep everyone updated as work proceeds.
We appreciate the co-operation of our locals in NOT leaving cars after Sunday.
