Locals may know that we used to be called 'Keighley Little Theatre' which was formed in 1947, by Frederic W. Pye and seven other like-minded individuals discussed the viability of forming a small amateur company to stage plays. In early 1949, we were offered the lease on premises in Devonshire Street which is where we still are today! In 1969, Keighley Little Theatre re-branded as Keighley Playhouse.
