FUNERAL NOTICE - MALCOLM HYDE

Malcolm’s funeral will take place on Monday 1st June 2026 at 1pm at St James’ Church, Freiston, Boston, PE22 0LQ followed by a private family burial in the churchyard.

After the service, all are invited to gather at Boston Golf Club, to share memories and celebrate Malcolm’s life together: Boston Golf Club, Horncastle Road, Boston, PE22 7EL

Chine Night at the club last Friday was not what we as a Board would have wanted. It is a relatively unusual event in catering circles and the Kitchen Manager was not given sufficient information as to what members would expect.

Gemma was under the impression that the meal would consist of three equal portions of each meat and it would not be for individual diners to choose how much of each meat to request on the night.

We offer our unreserved apology for our error to all the diners making it clear the fault was ours and not that of the Kitchen.

If those members who were present would wish to contact the office then a discount of 50% will be offered for their next visit to the dining room.

The funeral of
Mr. Caloguero Parla (Lillo),
who passed away on 15th April, will be held at
Centenary Methodist Church, Red Lion Street,
Wednesday 13th May at 1.30pm.
Family flowers only please.
There will be a donations box at the church to raise funds for the Bostonian ward.
There follows a private family burial at the cemetery.
All are welcome at the Church and the wake afterwards, which will be at The Mill, Spilsby Road.
