The Battle Axes is a historic Chef & Brewer countryside pub on the outskirts of Borehamwood. Close to Watford and Junction 4 of the M1, it occupies a former 19th-century inn bursting with character. Settle into one of the hidden nooks and crannies of our atmospheric interior, or head out to the relaxing beer garden with a craft ale in hand. We serve comforting pub food throughout the day, from hearty breakfasts to seasonal specials and traditional Sunday roasts. With free Wi-Fi, disabled facilities and a dog-friendly welcome, we’re ideal for family meals, walkers and evening dining alike. Whether you join us for lunch or a cosy dinner, we look forward to greeting you.
