You’ll spot them in all our pubs, and they’re available with all orders next week, so your bar can get into the Halloween spirit too.

🍻 BOLTON B**R FESTIVAL IS BACK! 🍻

Bolton B**r Festival returns to the stadium this Thursday! 🏟️🍺

Will you be there?

For us, this is a particularly special event, as it's home to the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) Indie B**r Awards competition.

And we've had a pretty good run over the last few years... 👀

🏆 2023 – Pavilion Pale Ale – Overall Cask Champion

🏆 2024 – Flat Cap – Overall Cask Champion

🏆 2025 – Hercules – Overall Cask Champion

THREE YEARS. THREE DIFFERENT B**RS. THREE OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIPS! 🏆🏆🏆

Can we make it four in a row? 🤞

Who knows! But one thing's for certain, our b**rs are in fantastic form, and we can only cross our fingers and patiently await the blind judging results.

Hopefully we'll come away with a medal or two, although last year's incredible haul will certainly take some beating! 🥇🥈🥉

Whatever happens, we're looking forward to a brilliant few days celebrating some of the best independent b**rs around. There are over 125 cask b**rs on stillage ready to be tried, so come prepared and line your stomachs if you're having a session amongst the North Wests best b**rs.

Hopefully we'll see plenty of you there on Thursday once the competition is over and the doors open at 6pm!

The reigning champ is back! 💪🏆

Hercules — 6.5% is already tucked up in cask, spending a week maturing before heading out to pubs next week.

This big, beautiful Amarillo-hopped delight is in limited supply, so we don’t expect it to hang around! 😬

How’s your day going? Ours is going just dandy… 🙃

Anyway, completely unrelated, we have an unexpected new b**r coming. 👀

Turns out, when you arrive to brew a b**r, one fairly important part of the process is actually having all the ingredients for said b**r.

Who knew? 😂

After discovering that minor detail this morning, we had two choices:

1) Don’t brew, not ideal when you have been so busy lately.

Or

2) have a look at what we did have, make a new recipe on the spot and wing it.

Naturally, we chose option two.

So, after 30+ years of brewing, we’re delighted to announce our latest carefully planned, meticulously developed and extensively researched new b**r…

✈️ WINGIN’ IT – 4.8% 🍺

A completely new brew that didn't exist when we walked through the door this morning.

Sometimes you just have to own the cock-ups (Ben 👀 😂)

Now we just need to wait a couple of weeks to find out whether this was a stroke of genius or simply a reminder to check the ingredients the day before. But, with Harlequin, Cascade and Citra all in one b**r, we really don't see how we could go wrong. 😋

Ben is windy weather gardening with a Santa's Claws from last Christmas because he (only ever so slightly) overestimated how much we needed last year 🤦‍♂️

We kept this one quiet....

Session 16 😍 now in cask and going on sale to the wider market from Monday.
But the first place you can try it is The Bank Top Brewery Tap.
And we expect the The Bank Top Brewery Ale House and Bank Top Brewery Old England Forever will also have it on soon too.

A 3.9% pale ale brewed with the British hop Jester® from the Charles Faram Hop Development Program.
Jester delivers bold notes of grapefruit & blackcurrant.

Quite excited by this one as it has twice the hops of most of the other session series b**rs.

Not even remotely b**r related but...

Last year we installed a bird feeder outside the front of the brewery to encourage and help sustain more birds in the local area, especially with us having the lovely community garden at the front of the Brewery too.

Well, today we have some newcomers, a family of Long-tailed T**s has found the fat balls and seed.

P.s. maybe we should get a feeder cam so some of you more keen bird watchers might be able to tell us what other species visit us 👀
