We are more than dog friendly, free treats from the bar are compulsory. We have many top Cornish musicians who perform monthly at our Cornish Music night where everyone is welcome to join in, also check out our regular Saturday night live bands. Good afternoon. Wow what a bank holiday weekend have had and how stunning is the weather 😍 🙌 ✨️

Just a quick, polite notice........

We all know how hot it is outside at the moment.
Please spare a thought for our staff and tracey cooking full time in the kitchen during this heat.

The kitchen is up to extreme temperatures and adam is having a much needed break with our son camping the next few days so kitchen hours may vary if the heat gets too much 🥵🥵🥵

Please be patient with us while we carry on serving incredible food, great beer and a few new wines 🍷 😋

Things maybe a little slower and we may need to have a little break at times just to cool down but we will always do our best to keep our customers happy 😊 😃

Good morning everyone

As most of you know it is the landlady's birthday today 🎁🎉🎂 44 years young :)

I'm sure everyone will join me in wishing her a very happy birthday as many of you know that she is the heartbeat that keep our amazing village pub ticking 🎉💪

For all the hard work that you do behind the scenes to keep the pub ticking over & the being the unstoppable force you are to keep the pub running smoothly and also for being the most amazing mum to our 4 children 🙈❤️

It has been a huge year of highs and lows for us and if anyone deserves to have the most amazing birthday it is you ❤️

Enjoy your day in Newquay today 🍺 We'll all be back at home base at 6:30pm so for those who aren't able to come today feel free to come and raise a glass to the landlady on her special day 🥂
