🎤 HE'S SPENT YEARS BEING MICHAEL BUBLÉ... NOW IT'S TIME TO MEET JOSH HINDLE!

And what a voice this man has! ❤️

If you've seen Josh performing as Michael Bublé, you'll already know he has a remarkable talent for bringing those wonderful swing classics to life.

But now he's stepping out as himself, with his very own show, KING OF THE ROAD.

And he's bringing his sensational live band to Blackburn Empire!

This is an evening for anyone who loves the smooth sounds of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett and, of course, Michael Bublé.

The sort of music that makes you want to dress up a little, order something nice at the bar and settle in for a really good night out. 🍸

Josh has the voice, the charm and the stage presence to make it all feel effortless.

Now, here's a little question for our swing fans...

Sinatra, Dean Martin or Bobby Darin?

Who's your king of the crooners? 🎶

📱 IF YOUR FIRST MOBILE PHONE WAS A NOKIA, THIS POST IS FOR YOU! 😂

Remember when you could drop your phone down the stairs, pick it up and carry on using it?

When Saturday nights meant getting ready to a Spice Girls CD, your best jeans were probably far too baggy, and everyone knew at least ONE person who thought they were Robbie Williams?

Ahhh, the 90s. What a time! 💿

Well, we're bringing it all back to Blackburn Empire!

That's So 90s is the ultimate nostalgia party, packed with the music of the Spice Girls, Britney Spears, Take That, Backstreet Boys and more.

This isn't a sit-quietly-in-your-seat sort of evening.

It's a chance to get the old gang together, relive your favourite tunes and remember why those 90s nights out were so much fun!

📅 Saturday 10 April 2027 at 7:30pm

Now then...

What was the FIRST CD single you ever bought?

And don't pretend it was something cool if it was actually the Vengaboys! 😂👇

🎶 EVER WONDERED WHAT REALLY INSPIRED THE SONGS YOU GREW UP WITH?

Some songs tell a story in three minutes that other people couldn't tell in an entire book.

And Chris Difford has written quite a few of them.

As one half of the legendary Squeeze songwriting partnership with Glenn Tilbrook, Chris helped create some of the most wonderfully observed songs in British pop.

Cool for Cats.
Up the Junction.
Labelled with Love.
Tempted.
Black Coffee in Bed.

Songs about ordinary people, complicated relationships and everyday life, written with extraordinary wit and insight.

And on Saturday 24 April, Chris is coming to Blackburn Empire for something rather special.

CHRIS DIFFORD: AN INTIMATE EVENING OF SONGS & STORIES

An evening of music, memories, candid conversation, dry humour and readings from his brand-new book.

No big production or elaborate stage show. Just a remarkable songwriter sharing the songs and stories behind a career that has also seen him work with Elton John, Jools Holland and Bryan Ferry.

A rare opportunity to hear the stories directly from the man who wrote the words. ❤️

📅 Saturday 24 April 2027 at 7:30pm
🎟️ Tickets from £30.50

If Squeeze were part of the soundtrack to your younger years, this is an evening worth putting in the diary.

And now we're wondering how many of you can still sing every word of Up the Junction! 🎤

🎸 NO WIGS. NO GIMMICKS. JUST THREE SERIOUSLY GOOD MUSICIANS.

And some of the greatest guitar music ever written.

Voodoo Room are back at Blackburn Empire on Friday 6 November, celebrating the incredible music of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Cream.

But here's the difference...

These guys aren't trying to dress up as rock legends.

They're musicians who know how to PLAY their music. And play it brilliantly! 🔥

Between them, members of Voodoo Room have impressive recording and touring credits with artists including Steve Winwood, Massive Attack, Lulu, Arthur Brown and Thunder.

That's quite a musical CV!

With just three musicians on stage, they recreate the power, excitement and extraordinary sound of some of rock's most influential artists.

And the reviews speak for themselves.

"Incredible Musicians" - Neneh Cherry

"Stunning" - Time Out

If you love proper live guitar music, this is going to be your kind of Friday night.

And we're delighted that so many of you are already coming along! ❤️

🎸 SOME MUSIC IS MADE TO BE PLAYED LOUD.

And Bruce Springsteen's is definitely near the top of that list.

There's something about those songs, isn't there?

The stories. The guitars. The big choruses. That feeling of being out on the open road with nowhere in particular to be.

And when Born to Run kicks in... well, it's difficult to sit still!

On Saturday 30 January, Forever Springsteen brings the unmistakable sound and spirit of The Boss to Blackburn Empire. 🔥

This brilliant seven-piece band recreates the energy of Bruce and the E Street Band, celebrating everything from the stadium-sized anthems to the quieter songs that mean so much to his fans.

Born to Run. Badlands. The River. Racing in the Street.

Music with heart, passion and a whole lot of rock 'n' roll!
