The Jam House opened on 23 April 1999 creating a unique music experience that combines rhythm ‘n’ blues, soul, jazz and pop every night of the week together with imaginative international food. This very individual venue is supported by boogie-woogie king, TV presenter and pianist Jools Holland who rocked the place on the opening night and will be dropping in from time to time. Situated within the exclusive setting of St. Paul’s Square, the JamHouse is a unique Birmingham venue with a history of music and fine dining. The relaxed ambience of this Georgian building coupled with our sophisticated catering make the JamHouse an experience that you will certainly impress family, friends and the employees and clients that you value the most. Stylish, yet informal, The Jam House is spread over three airy floors and holds up to 600 people. The open plan, top floor restaurant has seating for over 80 people and is very popular for corporate events and business/social lunches. The stage, dance area and informal seating can be found on the first floor along with a state-of-the-art bar running the width and height of the room. The ground floor hosts another impressive bar and seating area. An events co-ordinator is available if required, and we can also offer superior audio-visual presentation equipment. Our outstanding facilities are available from Sunday to Wednesday for private events.

Tonight!

Tippa Irie, otherwise known as Anthony Henry, is a British Jamaican singer, songwriter, MC and DJ. Hailing from Brixton, South London, he first came to prominence in the early 1980s as an MC in the original Saxon Sound International. Tippa first achieved international exposure in the mid-1980s with the hit singles “It’s Good to Have the Feeling You’re the Best” and “Complain Neighbour” before hitting the UK Top 40 with “Hello Darling”.

Tippa released his first solo album “Is It Really Happening to Me” in 1986. He has had several hits in the UK and around the world including Raggamuffin Girl featuring Peter Huningale, and Superwoman featuring Winsome. In 2005, Tippa was nominated for a GRAMMY® for Best Rap Song for a tune he wrote with Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas called “Hey Mama” appearing on the BEP album “Elephunk”. Tippa has toured the world extensively and continues to headline festivals and perform for capacity crowds on every continent.

Tonight Don-E is joined by Errol Reid (China Black), Natasha Watts, Rich Beggar & Richard Alexander Davis.

Brixton-born Don-E AKA Donald McLean is a soul singer, songwriter, musician and producer whose career began in the ’90s, had a top 20 hit with the single “Love Makes The World Go Round”, taken from his eponymous debut-album released in 1992.

Other releases include “Changing Seasons” (1995), “Try This” (2005), “Natural” (2008), “Ladies Night Part 1” (2012) and “Little Star” (2013).

Don-E won over the crowd at the Jam House last year, making new friends and fans, when he joined the rest of the British Collective – Junior Giscombe & Omar. He just had to return!

The Rock Steady & Reggae Sessions - Wed 11 Nov 2026

Known for her worldwide hit song 'Sweet Sensation' and they released an album called 'In the Country' the known reggae label called Third World on Empire Records during that time, she had released four singles. She was hailed as the Queen of Reggae/Soca. Yvonne Curtis was a band and two further singles called 'Come Home' and 'This is the It' records. Yvonne later moved on to join another band called The Sirenaders whilst with this band she also recorded with The Letter. During this time, she also recorded with The Wave where she was resident for fifteen years.
