After the heartbreaking loss of our close friend, the love and support shown at our fundraiser has meant more to us than we can ever truly put into words. During such a difficult time, seeing so many people come together — offering donations, kind messages, hugs, and simply being there — has brought real comfort and strength to us all. Your generosity, compassion, and presence reminded us how fortunate we are to be surrounded by such an incredible community. Thank you for standing with us, for honouring our friend in such a beautiful way, and for helping us carry their memory forward with love. So far we have raised £1900, this evening we will be doing an Auction with some incredible donations. The auction will be at 8pm xx

As most of you are aware, a much treasured member of our team, and loyal friend is terminally ill. It’s come as a huge shock to everyone, but most of all her family and close friends. We have decided to hold a fundraiser this Friday @ The Seaview in Birchington. It will start at 10am till late. We have a huge raffle, with some generous prizes all donated by Thanet’s local businesses!! To be honest it’s been overwhelming with the kindness. The money raised will go towards celebrating her life and also her family has requested some be donated to the wonderful staff at the hospice. All of us at “The Seaview” have worked so hard in making this Friday the best fundraiser for this special lady, and need everyone to dig deep! I would also like to show our appreciation for the support from all our customers, past and present. And a huge thank you to all the donations given to us. So remember “Friday 27th Feb” 10am till late!! And again thank you all ❤️❤️❤️ xx
