The Nightingale is what you might call a ‘proper pub’ serving a selection of real ales and craft beers, including the latest brews from our brewery, Brewpoint in Bedford. We also have a variety of gins and spirits, including an extensive range of soft drinks. Your four-legged friends are welcome in the bar area and garden. Whatever the occasion The Nightingale is just the place, we can’t wait to see you!

Good evening all. Today was absolutely crazy! We had a pile of enquiries and bookings we could not assign as we had no tables. I don’t know if it’s because our roasts are superb or because brewers Fayre have closed. All I can say is if you want a table on a Sunday I would advise booking by Thursday to guarantee. The system will take the booking, but unless it’s confirmed you won’t get a table. It’s not a bad problem to have but I don’t want to disappoint!

£300 taken in just dog registration!
We are now printing our Nightingale doggy calendar to be ready for October/November. This will be an ideal gift at Xmas for loved ones (or those you don’t like 😂) £10 and all proceeds go to our summer charities.
