Yesterday went well and thank you to all those that helped make my afternoon easier from bringing glasses back inside, to rubbish clearing, the kids rounding up the golf clubs and bits they used and helping pack down the bouncy castle. Sweets are bribery gold !

It made such a huge difference and I'm conscious thats not why you come to the pub so THANK YOU ALL.

Recovery underway and this helped me be able to say I'll be able to open again today for a short time today from 3 30 to 7, so you can wear the kids out and chill yourselves.

As most regulars are aware, I had a corrective operation on Thursday and there were no plans to open this weekend.

However, the procedure was successful and after 48 hours, I can walk again albeit slowly and not great distances so have decided to open between 4 and 7.30pm today.

Service will be inside although the usual outside games, bouncy castle and mini golf will be available to use.

And dont forget THE SPACE PIGS will be here live 2 weeks tomorrow just in time for the next heatwave lol.

Quite a few of you have asked for earlier afternoon opening on a Saturday with the lovely weather for some afternoon drinking.

Whilst we did do this at the start of this summer and people didnt come until gone 4pm, we will give it another go today.

Open from 2pm instead of 4pm.

Its just Kyle today so bear with him and pizzas will be limited to 5pm - 7pm on first come first served basis and subject to availability.

Please note, we have still not found thee wandering card machine so if its in your porch or outside by your bins addressed to Monkey Pubs Ltd at The Launton Arms let us know and ill ne straight round.

Until then CASH or BANK TRANSFER is accepted but not card payments. Sorry x

Has anyone taken in a parcel which will be addressed to either The Launton Arms or Monkey Pubs Ltd and have my name Kyle Michael on it?

Apparently, it was left with a neighbour yesterday, but there is no picture and doesn't say which neighbour! Helpful!

It contains my replacement card machine and I need it to be able to take card payments at the weekend.

Let me know if you have it and I can pop round and collect.

We regret due to a lovely power problem and the warming of all freezers and fridges, we will not be open today as scheduled.

Everything has now been cleared and kitchen deep clean completed however, all b**r is also warmed and will take 24 hours to cool back down to serving temperatures as you can imagine in this heat!

We will be back Saturday as scheduled with replacement stock sorted :-)

Yay fun times !!
