Music at McQuiston

It hasn’t been an easy week to watch the news. We’ve seen the impact of sin and brokenness not just around the world but right here in our local community. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, even hopeless, as we wonder where to turn.

This term at McQuiston, on Sunday mornings we’re journeying through the Old Testament book of Isaiah. Though written thousands of years ago, Isaiah speaks with surprising relevance to our world today. When everything feels broken, can we still have hope? Can the wrongs we see around us be made right? What can carry us through the hardest days?

You are warmly invited to join us as we explore these questions together and listen to what God has to say. Our morning worship service starts at 11am each Sunday, with tea and coffee served before and after. There’s a crèche and a full children’s programme — and you are welcome just as you are.

A massive, enormous thank you to all who gave time & effort to be part of “Music @ McQuiston: ReBorn”! So much talent on display in the varied genres of artistes - Sam Moreland (classical guitar), Orly Watson (classical piano & organ), Una McCann & The Ormeau Community Choir, Jonee's Hicks, Jason Boyd, Steve Kennedy & Lucas Briggs.
Big thank you also to all who played their part off the stage - Tim Graham (MC), Johnny Graham (cameras), all those who organised and executed the catering, stewarding and organising in other ways.
Huge thank you to George Sproule for spending a huge amount of hours setting up all our sound system, and then manning it this evening.
And an especially gargantuan “thank you” to all who attended the evening to support us - when all is said and done, it’s a big, supportive audience that really makes the night for us. Thank you all. 🙏🙂I
