Huge thanks to The Crosskeys Inn and Maddens Bar Belfast for two brilliant nights and such a warm, chunky welcome — a great way to kick off the year with full houses in both venues.

A special word of thanks to The Boatyard Distillery for coming along to Madden's and treating everyone to some complimentary drinks during the gig — a nice touch and very much appreciated 🥃

Thanks also to both bars for the generous gifts — we’re very grateful.

Is beirt cheoltóirí traidisiúnta iad Natalie Ní Chasaidé agus Iarfhlaith Ó Domhnaill (fidil) atá lonnaithe i mBaile Átha Cliath. Tugann siad beatha nua do thraidisiún fidle Dhún na nGall, agus iad ag cothú ceangal láidir leis na máistrí a chuaigh rompu agus ag an am céanna ag cur a gcruthaitheacht féin leis. I mí Bhealtaine 2024 d’eisigh siad a gcéad albam, The Devil’s Dream, saothar a moladh go hard mar ghuth úr i gceol traidisiúnta comhaimseartha. Sa bhliain 2025 bronnadh gradam Traic Traidisiúnta na Bliana orthu ag na RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards dá singil Welcome Home, Gráinne.

Natalie Ní Chasaide (piano, multi-instrumentalist) and Iarfhlaith Ó Domhnaill (Donegal fiddle) are an evocative Irish traditional music duo based in Dublin. Their partnership breathes new life into the Donegal fiddle tradition, blending deep-rooted learning from past masters with their own creative spark. In May 2024 they released their debut album The Devil’s Dream, widely praised as a striking new contribution to contemporary traditional music. In 2025 they received the Best Traditional Folk Track award at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards for their single Welcome Home, Gráinne.
