Bathgate BC is one of six founding clubs of the Linlithgowshire Bowling Association. Founded in 1882, the club has enjoyed many years of success and looks forward to much more

The club is tucked away in Bathgate with access via Balbardie Road or Majoribanks Street with very reasonable bar prices and friendly atmosphere

With a fully licensed bar, adequate function hall, pool table and darts board, there’s always something to do

New bowling members and visitors are most welcome

Closing Day 2026
Our Closing Day is fast approaching and happens this year on Sunday 20th September. Members should arrive around 1.30 with bowling commencing at 2pm.
We intend to run a Hat on the day and to gauge interest we will be putting a sheet up in the locker room on Wednesday. Please add your name if you intend to attend and play so we can also have an idea of food requirements.

RINK DAMAGE
OVER THE WEEKEND SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE TO RINKS 1 AND 2 RUNNING AWAY FROM CLUBHOUSE AND RINK 1 RUNNING PARALLEL TO CLUBHOUSE. CONSEQUENTLY THE DECISION HAS BEEN MADE TO CLOSE THESE RINKS TO PLAY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON. PLAYERS MUST BE AWARE THEY ARE DAMAGING THE GREEN AND SHOULD AMEND THEIR PLAY ACCORDINGLY.

Todays Final was the Handicap Trophy and Jim Horsburgh and Ryan McCormick met to decide the winner. In a close run game Ryan managed 21....18 win. Congratulations Ryan.on your win and commiserations Jim as runner up. Both Handicaps to be sliced for next year.....just sayin.

Two of Bathgates finest visited Middleton Hall today to participate in the McGrath Adult and Junior Open Pairs. Brilliant news that Harry managed to drag his auld man Billy over the line.
