We are very excited to be hosting Isaac Neilson at The Ram this Friday night 25th of September on part of his one man mission to shine a light on the life of a gigging musician.

Issac is a Nottingham-based indie artist currently undertaking an ambitious challenge to play a gig every day throughout 2026. This marathon musical endeavour is coupled with the goal of documenting the experience while releasing new music every eight weeks.

Already making headlines — championed by ITV, The Ivors, MVT, BBC News and even becoming a talking point in the House of Lords — Isaac is using his platform to highlight the plight of working-class musicians trying to break into the music industry.

Come down and support him on his mission!

New addition to The Ram family, we now have a handmade guitar shop in the unit next door!

Come in and say hi! We sell craft b**r and Ethiopian coffee so you can hang out while we fix your guitar or you can grab some food from the deli and try some of our unique instruments after your lunch. An interesting mix I’m sure you’ll agree. 👍

Some of you may have heard the news already but Pete is going to be taking a step back from front of house duties to work on another project. He makes guitars and with a group of other luthiers is opening a handmade guitar shop in the unit next to The Ram, very exciting!!! He’ll still be around and involved, just not quite so visibly.

We will continue to show sports and host live music as before, and Widcombe Deli, who have been with us for 2 years now, are going to be running things and will be continuing to deliver their great service into the evenings.
