WE’RE HIRING — BAR MANAGER
BAR LUSH | BARNSTAPLE
We’re looking for an experienced, confident and passionate Bar Manager to take a leading role in the day-to-day running and future direction of Bar Lush.
This isn’t just about managing shifts. We’re looking for someone who wants to take ownership of the bar, bring fresh ideas to the table and help us keep moving the business forward.
The right person will have strong experience within bars and ideally restaurants/food service too. You’ll be organised, commercially minded and confident managing a team, ordering stock, maintaining standards and making sure the business runs smoothly.
Bar Lush is a lively, busy venue — particularly at weekends — so you’ll need to be someone who thrives under pressure, leads from the front and knows how to get the best out of a team.
Personality is important to us too. We’re looking for someone outgoing, confident and approachable, with the presence to become one of the faces of Bar Lush and build great relationships with both customers and staff.
We’d love to find someone who has:
* Strong bar and hospitality experience
* Restaurant/food service experience
* Management or supervisory experience
* Great organisation and stock/order management skills
* Confidence leading and motivating a team
* Plenty of initiative and fresh ideas
* A genuine passion for hospitality and catering
* A strong personality and great customer skills
* The flexibility and commitment that comes with running a busy bar, including evenings and weekends
Most importantly, we want someone who will care about the business, take pride in it and genuinely want to make their mark on Bar Lush.
This is a position with real responsibility, plenty of freedom to bring your own ideas and the opportunity to play a major part in the future of the business.
