On Thursday 28th May, The Whistle & Flute will be closed to the public for food service between 12pm–2pm as we host the wake for Carl Reeve following his funeral service.

During this time, the venue will only be open to friends and family attending the wake. A buffet will be served for family in the restaurant, as they come together to celebrate Carl’s life and share memories of a man who truly was one of a kind.

Carl was a huge character and will be dearly missed by everyone here at The Whistle & Flute and by so many within the community. We would like to express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones at this difficult time.

We are expecting a large number of people to attend, so we kindly ask for patience and understanding with our staff, who will be doing their very best to look after everyone throughout the afternoon.
