🚨 WANTED 🚨

We are appealing for the public’s help to find a man who is wanted in connection with multiple offences in Bicester.

Mark Fada, pictured, is believed to have hit a man in his thirties with an axe handle during a fight. The victim suffered a substantial cut to his face, requiring stitches, and a vehicle was damaged.

Fada, aged 31, is also believed to have stolen an e-bike from a teenage boy, after threatening him with a broken b**r bottle, and from two shops on multiple occasions.

During one of the shoplifting incidents, the offender pushed the security guard and told them they had a weapon, but none was seen, after trying to take a basket full of groceries.

Fada is around 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, and is known to frequent Bicester.

If you see Fada, do not approach him and 📞999 instead.

If you can help us find Fada, 📞101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43260350850.

We have arrested two people in relation to the first incident; one has been released on police bail and the other under investigation.

We will never tolerate violence or thefts in our communities, so we are committed to serving the victims and bringing offenders to justice.

🚔 Night Shift Patrol Results - Check Your Documents! 🚔

Whilst P1147 & P3295 were on patrol during our night shift, we issued a traffic ticket to a driver after our in-car ANPR identified a vehicle near Wolvercote, Oxford with no valid MOT. The MOT had expired in June 2026, meaning it was over 5 months overdue.
The driver advised that they must have missed the email reminder. What many motorists may not realise is that driving without a valid MOT can also affect the validity of your insurance.
📋 No valid MOT = £100 Fixed Penalty Notice
We would encourage all drivers to check their MOT renewal dates to avoid finding themselves in the same situation.

Later, whilst on the A34 near Kidlington, we stopped another vehicle and discovered it was being driven without insurance. The driver stated that they had missed direct debit payments and their policy had subsequently been cancelled.
🚫 No Insurance = £300 fine and 6 penalty points
🚗 Vehicle Seizure = £192 + £26 daily charge
Unfortunately for this driver, they already had 6 points on their licence for previous speeding offences. As a result, they have been reported to court, where a further 6 points is likely to take them to 12 points, putting them at serious risk of losing their licence.

✅ Check your MOT
✅ Check your insurance
✅ Keep your details and payments up to date.

A few minutes spent checking today could save you hundreds of pounds and potentially your driving licence.

🚔 A highly visible policing operation will be in place for the Oxford United Official v Reading Football Club fixture at the Kassam Stadium on Wednesday 4 November ⚽

Officers will be deployed before, during and after the match, with a range of policing tactics in place to deter offending and protect our communities.

A Section 35 dispersal order and Section 60AA powers will be in force as part of the operation. The authorisations will be in place from 11am on Wednesday 4 November until 1am on Thursday 5 November across designated areas of Oxford, Didcot and Reading. These powers will be used where necessary to prevent and respond to incidents linked to the fixture.

We have been working closely with both clubs, British Transport Police and partner agencies to help ensure the fixture passes safely and minimise disruption to supporters, local communities and businesses.

The vast majority of fans will attend to enjoy the match, but we will not tolerate violence, disorder, antisocial behaviour or other criminality. Anyone involved in such behaviour can expect a swift police response, with enforcement action taken where necessary.

➡️ Supporters are encouraged to arrive in good time, follow the directions of stewards and police officers, and report any concerns to us.

For more information, including maps showing the areas covered by the orders, please see the link in the comments ⤵️

BANBURY 📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD TEAM IN ACTION 🚔

Neighbourhood officers received intelligence from a local supermarket that a prolific shoplifter had made a habit of targeting the store at the same time, almost every evening.

So what did we do? 🤔

We paid a visit to the store at the time identified through the intelligence...

And guess who turned up? 👀

Officers located the male, arrested him at the scene, and following further enquiries he was charged with 15 shoplifting offences from the same store.

He has since been remanded to court to face those charges.

This is a great example of how information shared by businesses helps us target offenders, prevent further crime, and protect our local retailers.

👏 Great work by everyone involved!

BANBURY 📍 YOU SAID, WE DID 🚔

Following concerns raised by residents at the recent Grimsbury Community Forum regarding anti-social driving, Banbury Neighbourhood Policing Team, kindly supported by Roads Policing officers and our Special Constabulary colleagues, carried out a proactive evening of action yesterday targeting traffic offences across the area.

As a result, officers:

✅ Seized 7 e-scooters under Section 165 powers
✅ Seized 4 e-bikes under Section 165 powers
✅ Seized 1 quad bike under new Section 59 powers

The concerns raised by our communities help shape our neighbourhood priorities and the action we take. We are committed to tackling anti-social driving, improving road safety, and taking robust action where offences are identified.

We will continue to carry out targeted enforcement activity across Banbury and act on the concerns you raise with us.

📍 Banbury - Neighbourhood Update 👮
After failing to stop for police, enquiries by NHPT officers led to this uninsured vehicle being located and seized.

A moment's decision to drive off can lead to a much longer list of problems.

No insurance. No excuses. No car.🥺
