🏌️♀️ Inter-Club Competition Update🏌🏻♂️
It has been another busy and encouraging week for our men’s teams, with strong performances across several competitions and plenty of important fixtures still to come.
Weekend Results:
JB Carr⛳️
The guys came up short against a strong Royal Portrush over the two legs, but the result doesn’t take away from what was a fantastic experience for our boys. Competing at the home of the 153rd Open Championship, for leg 1, provided a valuable opportunity to test themselves on one of golf’s most iconic courses.
Holt Shield⛳️
The team enjoyed an excellent start to the group stage campaign. In Match 1, they secured a hard-fought 3½–2½ victory over Dunmurry, giving them a great start in the competition.
Ulster Cup⛳️
The team edged a closely contested 4–3 first-leg home victory. Four of the seven matches went all the way to the 18th hole, highlighting just how tight the contest was. The team now looks ahead to the return leg on Sunday 14th, with a 2:30pm tee-off.
Junior Cup⛳️
The team unfortunately failed to qualify after facing a very tough test at Cairndhu. Despite the result, the course was presented in excellent condition and the team enjoyed a great day of golf. Team Captain Richard Mark would like to personally thank all players who represented the club and gave their best efforts, particularly given the challenges in assembling a team.

Friday 5th🗓️
Irish Mixed Foursomes Round 3⛳️
Ballymena take on Moyola. 5pm tee-off at Ballymena and 4.50pm at Moyola.
Holt Shield Group Stage Match 2⛳️
Following immediately after the Mixed Foursomes, the Holt Shield team faces Shandon Park. The team will be hoping to add more points after their positive opening result. 5pm tee off for our away players.
Saturday 6th🗓️
Pierce Purcell Round 3⛳️
Ballymena faces Rosapenna. Our away players make the long trip to Donegal, providing a fantastic opportunity to experience one of Ireland’s premier golfing venues. 3:00pm tee-off at both venues.
Sunday 7th🗓️
Jimmy Bruen Round 3⛳️
Ballymena takes on Cushendall. 1:30pm tee-off at Ballymena. 2:00pm tee-off at Cushendall.
Monday 8th🗓️
Belfast & District Round 2⛳️
Ballymena takes on Holywood. 5-30pm tee off at both venues.
Sunday 14th🗓️
Barton Shield Round 2⛳️
Ballymena take on Massereene at the neutral venue of Ballyclare. 8am Tee off
