It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we’re sad to announce the passing of our esteemed colleague and great friend Hugh Connolly. Hugh was a valued part of Charlie’s since our opening and one of the nicest and gentlest souls one could ever meet. He will be sadly missed by everyone. Thinking of Bernie, the boys, his grandchildren and all his family at this very difficult time. Rest in peace Hugh ♥️

Thinking of all of the Gordon family at this very sad time with the passing of Seamus. Seamus will be sorely missed by all the staff and patrons of Charlie’s. A good friend to all but none more so than our very own Dixie. God rest his gentle soul 😢💔🙏

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the late Mr Seamus Gordon R.I.P.

Gordon, Ballymena 25th July 2025, suddenly at hospital, Seamus R.I.P. Late of 12 Warden Street.
Beloved husband of Nuala. Devoted father to Ciara and Caolàn. Much loved brother of Margaret, Susan and Brian.
Brother-in-law of Terence, Patrick, Maria and Joanne.
Sacred Heart Of Jesus Have Mercy In His Soul.

Seamus’s remain will be reposing at our funeral home on Sunday 27th from 3pm to 6m and on Monday 28th from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 29th July at 10.00am in All Saints’ Church followed by interment in Ballymena Cemetery.
Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, daughter, son, sisters, brother and the wider family circle.
The family have requested that those attending the funeral, to wear Celtic shirts, if you wish.
