Steve & Emma will be celebrating their 10th year at the New Inn in October. With their three children, and the resident cocker spaniel Guinness, you will always find a warm welcome for families with kids and dogs alike. We have always had a passion for real food and real ales - in fact we are CASK MARQUE accredited and have featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for the past 5 years running - something that few pubs in the Cheddar Valley can say. With our large Beer garden with extensive views over the Mendips, out to Glastonbury Tor, at the front and amazing walks up Crooks peak and the Strawberry line cycle path at the back, The New Inn is perfectly situated to enjoy loads of local attraction including Cheddar Gorge. Bristol airport is just 10 miles so we make an ideal stop off point for refreshments before or after your flight.

Whether you're heading towards Cheddar or Winscombe, we've got you covered for a refreshing pint or a delicious homemade meal.

Our regular cycling group can verify that we're the best destination for a warm welcome and a chance to rest and refuel!
