Welcome to the weekend. As its Halloween tomorrow, you know what that means at the pumps...alongside 5 of our regular ales is the local special guest ale, the monster brew from Aldwark Artisan Ales, Frankenstein Porter (5.4%). Assembled by a mad genius, its full-bodied, but easy to drink, just watch out for any jolts to the system when you've had a couple or three. You have been warned.

Its nearly time for some more live music at the Tav, with the welcome return of Carla & The Honeymakers here on Saturday 7th November at 9pm. A little bit of everything to suit all tastes with blues, country, cajun and every flavour of the deep South. Come on down!

Welcome to the weekend. We've got our usual great range of real ales ready for tonight and beyond, although sorry to say no Pedigree until probably Tuesday at the earliest, mainly due to having our delivery day changed permanently at very short notice, slightly mucking up our ordering pattern.

So, we've currently got Butty Bach, Tribute, Draught Bass and London Pride to sit alongside this week's local special guest, Aldwark Artisan Ales 8 Million (4.5%), a superb hoppy pale ale.

Welcome to the weekend. We're very pleased to say we've made the Good B**r Guide again this year...as always, huge thanks to all our customers and friends who support us all year round, we couldn't do this without you.
