🌈 What a day! 🌈

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported Appledore’s very first Pride Festival yesterday.

Despite the weather doing its best to challenge things, it was a fantastic, incredibly well organised event and it was so lovely to see the community come together to celebrate inclusivity, acceptance and everything that makes Appledore such a special place to live and visit. 💜

We were delighted to be part of the Appledore Pride Cocktail Safari and we’re thrilled that so many of you enjoyed our Lychee Martinis. In fact, they proved so popular that you completely sold us out by early evening! 🍸🙌

The celebrations continued into the night with Strange Brew making their first appearance at The Crab & Apple, and what a show they put on. The pub was absolutely jumping, the dance floor was busy and the atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish. 🎶🍻

A special shout out also goes to our amazing bar team, who were on top form all day and night. The pub was busy, the cocktails were flowing and they kept everything running smoothly with plenty of smiles along the way.

A gentle reminder that all tickets must be paid for in cash before the draw takes place. Any unpaid tickets may need to be reallocated.

🌈🏳️‍🌈 Today is Appledore’s very first Pride Festival! 🏳️‍🌈🌈

Despite the weather not quite playing ball, there are still lots of amazing things happening around the village today and we’re so excited to be a small part of it.

A huge well done to all of the organisers, volunteers and businesses who have worked so hard to bring this fantastic event to life. The performances and stalls may have moved indoors, but the community spirit certainly hasn’t! 💜

If you’re taking part in the Cocktail Safari, our Lychee Martinis are going down very nicely already 🍸 and we’re looking forward to welcoming plenty more of you throughout the day.

And the fun doesn’t stop there! Tonight we’re delighted to welcome the brilliant Strange Brew for their first ever gig at The Crab & Apple. Live music starts from 9pm, so come along, grab a drink and help us give them a proper Appledore welcome. 🎶🍻
