We need your help - hospitality needs your help!

Hospitality is one of the UK’s greatest success stories, it employs millions of people, give youngsters their first jobs, keeps the high streets alive and not forgetting bringing communities, villages and towns alike together… socially, business meetings, family events - all usually start with hospitality!

So from July 1st the industry - pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants, hotels and so many more is coming together to launch “VAT’s the Problem” - a campaign calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced to 10% from 20%.

This campaign isn’t just about one thing it’s about everyone - our customers, our staff, kitchen porters, suppliers, brewery’s and producer of quality food. The more pubs, cafes and so on that close - everyone suffers. It has a huge knock on effect. Buildings let empty and rotting, employment suffering, businesses going bust due to no supply.

Please sign the petition and let’s make some changes!

Exciting news… from Friday June 5th come grab a coffee before or after your walk in the lovely Penn Woods from our lovely friends Gaye and Lauren of Theluckyhorsebrew from 8am - Midday every Friday, freshly brewed tea and coffee made by these two amazing ladies!

Then if still around at midday come for some lunch and drinks with The Squirrel!
