Wow! What an incredible turnout for our open event Sunday 9th! It was completely sold out! A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support the future of The Bat & Ball. It was wonderful to share a drink with so many neighbors while talking through all the hard work done so far and the exciting vision ahead.
From the redesigned interiors to a refreshed local atmosphere, the goal is to create a vibrant hub that truly serves every part of our village - whether that’s a welcoming space for new parents, a comfortable spot for our cherished older residents, a weekday w**e/b**r catch-up, or weekend evening gatherings and annual community events.

Together, we’ve already achieved something huge: the pub has been officially purchased, protecting it from being turned into another housing development.

Now, the next exciting step is entirely in our hands. To bring the pub to its full potential, we need the community's help to raise the remaining funds. If you plan to drink here, dine here, or simply enjoy having a thriving local pub at the heart of the village, this is a unique chance to shape its future.

We know how much The Bat & Ball pub means to the village, and we want to build a place we all love, use, and feel proud of. But first, we want to meet you.

We are holding two exclusive Open Days for the local community to drop in, say hello, and hear all about our exciting plans for the future of the pub.

🎉 The Bat & Ball is under NEW MANAGEMENT! 🎉

We wanted you to be the very first to know... The Bat & Ball is officially under new management for Community Benefit! 🔑🍻 Now, the real work starts...

Our Management Team has been working incredibly hard in the background on so many different tasks just to get us to this point. They are completely volunteering their time, efforts, and energy and trust us, it has been a massive shift!

🛠️ What’s Next?
The immediate plan is to get straight underway with the clean-up and internal building refurbishments. We want to drive interest for investments and involve anyone who wants to be a part of this amazing community benefit project!

We know you’ll have plenty of questions, so we are holding several open evenings to share the plans and answer any questions! And also don’t forget we are at Music on the Common TODAY!
