Heritage Open Days runs 11-20 September, with free access to many historic sites right across England and Northumberland. Dunstanburgh Castle country is a 14th entity castle close by and a great place to visit.

Roast season is officially back, though tbh here at the Dunstanburgh Castle Inn it’s one of our favourites and is available every week.

Crispy roasties, delicious gravy and homemade Yorkshire puds with your choice of roast or vegetarian option.

Big weekend for walkers this Saturday 5th September is the Mighty Hike Northumberland Coast challenge, taking hundreds of walkers right past Dunstanburgh Castle on the way from Alnwick to Bamburgh.

Whether you're taking part in Saturday's Mighty Hikes 🥾 challenge or cheering someone on or just out on your own coastal walk, our lunch and drinks menu is ready to refuel you all are welcome 🩶
