Im still struggling to put into words how im feeling and what you meant to me, along with our friends. But I'm going to try
In the last few days before you passed we had some good nights for which il always be glad, and as usual had me in tears laughing. You are one of my best friends and I'm soo happy and grateful to have known you, as a customer of The Alma and as a friend, and a fu***ng belter of a friend you was. You got us to the hospital with only a little bit of hesitation cause ypu thought I needed you to fix something 🤣, turned out we just needed to have our Baby Otto which you've been a big part of and brought a huge smile to your face which we will cherish forever.
Il miss our late night drinks, il miss our chats over music and our arguments about who found it first. Il miss you being my ear and my voice of reason. Il miss your quotes and your intelligence , Il miss your negative opinion of my guiness but your praise for everybody else's pour. But most of all I'm going to miss you mate, all of you because running this pub without you is just not going to be the same. My heart is generally broken and thiers just a huge Eddie shaped hole that I doubt could ever be filled.
Today I've cried because you are gone but your worth a million times more than my sad tears. In a little while I will laugh and smile for you and all the great times we had together. From now on I will live with a little Eddie in me, but not in a gay way.
God bless you brother and I know we will meet again and pick up right where we've left off.
