The countdown to the Rhoden Family Fun Day football match is officially ON! 👀🔥

📅 Wednesday 10th June🕖 7PM📍 The Rhoden Inn

This is the official draft night for the Landlord vs Landlady charity match taking place at the Fun Day! 💙❤️

If you’ve put your name down to play, PLEASE attend if you can as teams will be selected on the night 👏⚽️

⚽️ HOW THE DRAFT WORKS ⚽️

To make things even more chaotic… 👀🤣

Before the draft starts we’ll do a coin toss to decide who gets FIRST PICK 🪙⚽️

Then it’s simple…

❤️ Landlady picks a player
💙 Landlord picks a player
Back and forth until the teams are built 🔥

BUT… here’s the twist 😈

Both sides get ONE STEAL! 🚨

At ANY point during the draft each captain can SN**CH one player straight from the other team and claim them as their own 😱😂

So don’t get too comfy when your name gets called because you might be switching sides before the night is over 👀

❤️🎤 WHAT A NIGHT FOR OLLY! 🎤❤️

Last night was one of those evenings that reminds us exactly what our community is all about. 💙

The incredible Marching Bones got the party started and had a packed-out Rhoden bouncing from the very first song. 🎶🔥

We then heard from Olly’s mum, who spoke from the heart and reminded us all why we had come together. It was a powerful moment that put everything into perspective and showed just how much this brave young lad deserves our support. ❤️

Our headline act, the brilliant Alex Cairns, then took to the stage and had the room in stitches all night long. 😂👏

To round off the evening, we did what The Rhoden does best… grabbed the microphones and finished the night with a fantastic karaoke session! 🎤🍻

Most importantly, thanks to every single person who attended, donated, bought raffle tickets, performed, volunteered, or simply showed their support, we raised £220 for Olly on the night! ❤️

We’ve been donated an amazing Lego remote control truck, built and donated by our regular Ste Sykes, aka Stella Ste! 👏

We’ve got a football card available at the bar for just £5 a go, with the lucky winner taking home this fantastic prize. ⚽️🏆
