Wow. Just wow. I know these pictures are just snapshots of yesterday and they don’t do justice to all the feels I have for what just happened. You guys were unbelievable! What a connection we have, what a community we have. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- Helsinki is truly a magical city, we are so blessed to have these events and get togethers - let’s keep the same spirit up, let’s raise and support each other and come together in the future too!

Jopo Simeon K is a gender-fluid and genre-fluid DJ based in Helsinki. After partaking in the q***r nightlife of São Paulo and London during early to mid 2010’s, Jopo eventually picked up DJing in order to channel on to the dance floor their always evolving love for electronic music and has been a regular feature in Helsinki nightlife ever since.
While their early days of DJing focused mainly on house, disco and synth pop, they soon started expanding into deeper, darker and faster sounds of techno, acid, trance and breakbeat. Hypnotic grooves and nods toward the 80’s and 90’s have been their main sources of inspiration since the beginning.
Over the years, with BPM ranging from 90 to 150, Jopo has learned to adapt their style into various situations and has performed at several well-known night clubs, local underground joints, Pride celebrations and music festivals of all shapes and sizes. Jopo Simeon K

Emerging from the deep north of Finnish Lapland, Mr.A found his way to Helsinki’s dance floors over three decades ago - and never left. A solid fixture in the q***r nightlife since the DIY rave culture of the 1990s, he
helped shape Helsinki’s scene through clubs like Nylon, Kerma, and DTM.
Throughout the years, Mr.A has stayed in step with the evolving rhythms of hlbtiq++ culture, constantly reinventing himself while nurturing new
generations of dancers and night creatures. antti

Tatu V started as a ”club kid gogo dancer” in Disco 2000 in New York in 1990. He picked up DJing while studying art and media in University of Lapland. He has played house and techno in clubs and bars from Helsinki to Sao Paulo. He has played at London Fashion Week party, Burning Man Festival in U.S.A., afterhours club Fe**sh in Valencia, Ibiza Pride Pool Party at Bora Bora, La Messa in Milan, Botox in Melbourne and at MTV party in Frankfurt. In Madrid he has played at My Pleasure at Fabrik, Minitel, Bearbie, Sissybag and Ciclogenesis. In addition to mixing hot rhythms Tatu likes to experiment with his looks and has been photographed for magazines like Interview (New York), ID (London), kctv.co.uk and Vision (China).

Oxane began as a streaming DJ across various online platforms, performing under multiple aliases before settling into his current name. After moving to Helsinki, he joined the Bear With Us Helsinki group and has been a BWU resident DJ for over ten years. Now based in London, he remains active in both cities’ club scenes. At Bears on Board, Oxane serves uplifting and funky tunes that keep the energy high and the crowd moving.
