On November 11th, we’re welcoming Kenneth, Michter’s brand representative, to Mnemonic for a night dedicated to good American wh***ey, great cocktails and even better conversations.

Kenneth knows a thing or two about wh***ey (okay, probably a lot more than that). He’ll be sharing stories about American wh***ey, what makes Michter’s special and everything that goes into making their wh***eys.

And because we can’t just sit around and talk about wh***ey, our bar team has put together THREE SPECIAL Michter's Distillery COCKTAILS, available for the night.

Whether you’re a wh***ey nerd, a bartender or just someone who enjoys a damn good drink, there’s a place for you at our bar.

FIRST EDITION: DONE🔥
And what a way to start.

Three incredible women behind the bar. Six different takes on Campari. A full house, good music, lots of familiar faces and plenty of bitter drinks going around.

Huge love to Kadrian Possul , Lisete Ruustalu and Triinu Tollimägi for saying yes to a slightly crazy idea and bringing your own personalities, flavours and energy behind Mnemonic Bar

Bitter Babes started as Diana Tšistjakova idea to bring more attention to the talented women working behind our bars, create new connections and give them a space to show what they do best.

Seeing the first edition actually happen made one thing pretty clear:

Thank you to everyone who came, drank, danced and supported the babes. And thank you to Anora Estonia with Campari for supporting the very first edition.

OCTOBER 3RD. TWO YEARS WITH THE KEYS. 🔑

Exactly two years ago today, we got the keys to an empty space in Rotermann

No bar. No team. No designer or construction crew yet. Just an empty room, a deadline, and a clear idea of what we wanted Mnemonic to become.

Looking at these photos side by side now feels a little crazy.

2024: two very excited people standing in an empty room, drawing on photos and trying to imagine what this place could look like.

2026: a bar full of people, cocktails, music, parties, familiar faces, new friends and more stories than we could have imagined when we first got the keys.

And somewhere along the way, this empty space became Mnemonic. 🥹

A lot has changed in two years. We’ve changed too. We’ve made mistakes, learned a lot, celebrated some pretty big wins and probably spent more hours inside these walls than we’d like to count.

But one thing hasn’t changed: we’re still excited about what we’re building here. Two years since we got the keys, and it still feels like we’re only getting started.

BITTER BABES @ MNEMONIC | TAKEOVER

MEET LISETE. One of the babes joining the very first edition of Bitter Babes, a project created by Diana Tšistjakova (Diana Tšistjakova ) to highlight and celebrate talented women in the bar industry.

Lisete Ruustalu has been behind the bar since she turned 18, starting back in 2017. Her approach to cocktails is heavily inspired by experiences, things she’s tasted and, very often, food. Her motto pretty much explains the rest: “F**k around and find out.”

She’s always somewhere between a bar and a restaurant, looking for the next flavour, technique or experience to inspire her. She’s also no stranger to cocktail competitions, with more under her belt than she can count. Her latest big win? Being crowned the 2026 Estonian Hennessy MyWay Champion in Copenhagen.

WHERE TO FIND HER:
Lisete is the Head Bartender at Lessner Bar in Noblessner, Tallinn. A two-level bar focused on signature cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and w**e, where she’s constantly playing with new techniques and unexpected flavour combinations.

Lisete: “If I was a Negroni, I would be an Enzoni. A rare specimen, still yet to be discovered. As it’s something you hardly ever find in cocktail bars, it’s always a joyous surprise to see one on the menu, just like when I walk into an industry friend’s spot.”

MEET TRIINU. One of the babes joining the very first edition of Bitter Babes, a project created by Diana Tšistjakova (Diana Tšistjakova ) to highlight and celebrate talented women in the bar industry.

Triinu Tollimägi is cheerful, curious and always ready to play around with something new, and that energy finds its way into her cocktails too. Travelling, meeting new people and discovering new flavours are a big part of where her inspiration comes from.

Bartending started as a hobby just a few years ago, but cocktail competitions quickly became a big part of her journey. In 2025, she won Best Estonian Cocktail, followed by another win this year at the Estonian Finlandia Bartender Competition.

Her style? Playful but balanced. For Triinu, a cocktail should be fun to experience, not just drink.

WHERE TO FIND HER:
Triinu is behind the bar at Blood Milk Water in Tartu, a small cocktail bar where creativity, quality ingredients and a little bit of weirdness are always welcome. Most things are made in-house, from cordials and syrups to infusions, with plenty of room for experimentation.

Triinu: “I’d be a Tiki Negroni. Silky smooth, bittersweet, rich and tropical. Sweet and strong, just like me. Familiar enough to feel comfortable, but definitely not boring.”

MEET KADRIAN. One of the babes joining the very first edition of Bitter Babes, a project created by Diana Tšistjakova (Diana Tšistjakova ) to highlight and celebrate talented women in the bar industry.

Kadrian Possul has been part of the bar world for over a decade, working both in Estonia and abroad. After years spent behind different bars, she brings plenty of experience with her, along with an appreciation for a good classic and the simple pleasure of a properly made drink.

WHERE TO FIND HER:
These days, you’ll find Kadrian behind the Savoy Bar Tallinn , a cozy and intimate spot on the edge of Tallinn’s Old Town. Good cocktails, a wide selection of w**es and small plates, whether you’re stopping by for an after-work drink, a pre-theatre aperitif or a little nightcap.

Tomorrow, Kadrian brings her own take on the bitter side of things behind MNEMONIC | MODERN DIVE BAR | TALLINN for BITTER BABES. 🍸🖤

Kadrian: “This is a complicated one. Part of me screams: ‘Classic, always classic!’ But a big part of today’s me would probably say a nice, simple Americano. And if we want to spice it up a little, then a Sbagliato.”
