HUNGR

HUNGR Literally starving for something new❕

#1 community focused queer bar in TLN open to everyone and their mum HUNGR - A small queer venue with a big presence!

We invite you to join us in building a place that will be a beacon of hope and a safe haven for Tallinn’s queer community. Together, we can create a symbol of resilience and a reminder of the power of community. We believe that by creating a space that enables events and gatherings for people to share their experiences, we can create a stronger sense of community and foster a more inclusive and di

verse environment.

GUIDELINES FOR OUR KIND OF SAFER SPACE! These guidelines for safer spaces were created to make the venue as safe as possible for all participants. We understand that it is unlikely, especially in public facilities and events, that all spaces can be made fully safe for everyone. With this in mind, we encourage all the participants to actively create an atmosphere where we prioritise one another’s safety and wellbeing. Let’s look after one another so we can all live our best lives together ❤️‍🔥

Respect everyone’s personal space, both physical and mental! You cannot know where another person’s boundaries lie without asking them. Make sure you ask before touching anyone - that includes the artists (drag performers, DJs, live performers, dancers etc) and our staff! Listen to others and adapt your behaviour if someone indicates that your behaviour makes them feel uncomfortable. Respect everyone & don’t make assumptions! About other people’s sexuality, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, values, socio-economic background, ability or health. Respect pronouns and names. Be aware of your own privileges. No body discrimination! Don’t comment on another person’s body in a negative light. Respect the opinions, beliefs, experiences and differing viewpoints of others. Don’t mock, ridicule, disparage, sideline or humiliate anyone with your words, behaviour or actions. Assume responsibility for your own actions and behaviour! Remember that your actions affect other people, regardless of your good intentions. Give space! Do your best to ensure that everyone gets to participate in discussions. Don’t disregard other people’s opinions; give others the chance to speak. Respect the privacy of others and treat sensitive topics respectfully. Intervene in harassment if you witness it, and ask the person who was harassed whether they would like help or support. Don’t just remain an on-looker. Extra special guide for respecting the HUNGR deejays: absolutely no requests, unless specifically otherwise noted or announced. No drinks on the DJ table and definitely no invasion of the DJs space behind the booth! IF YOU EXPERIENCE HARASSMENT

If you experience inappropriate behavior or harassment at the event, please report it to the staff. We are here to offer help and support in any case of harassment and try resolving harassment cases together with security. If the situation cannot be resolved, the person behaving inappropriately will be removed from the space as discreetly and unnoticeably as possible. Yours with love! HUNGR💦💦

DJ duties fall into the hands of the düğüncore crew: gok2, dizlerim küpsis & shah rud.

“Whether you are religious, agnostic or atheist, Ninety Nine Eyes, an inspiring exercise in neo-devotional music, will make you realise the craving for spiritual revelation is something inherently human.”
— The Quietus

Ninety Nine Eyes is the latest live ritual and album by Egyptian artist YUNIS, whose work weaves Afro-Arab rhythms, trance structures, and electronic maximalism into a sonic pilgrimage.

Structured like a Sufi Hadra, the performance unfolds as a journey through collective memory, transformation, and ecstatic communion, guided by layered sound design, live improvisation, and immersive ritual practice.

Rooted in Zar, takhmira, and traditions of ecstatic ceremony, YUNIS draws from living cultural forms to create experiences that transcend genre. Rather than presenting tradition as a relic, he activates it in real time, creating spaces where ancestral practices, contemporary electronics, and collective presence meet.

Alongside his acclaimed musical output — including the critically praised Ninety Nine Eyes released on Drowned By Locals — YUNIS works across performance, choreography, and multidisciplinary artistic practices, continually exploring the intersection of body, sound, and collective experience.

On 13 June, YUNIS brings Ninety Nine Eyes to Sun:East Festival at HUNGR.
