Thursday, 5 November: a South African evening around one shared table

At 20:00, Fotografiska restaurant takes guests on a journey through South African art and w**e, accompanied by flavours inspired by the country. W**e expert Vaho Klaamann brings 35 years of experience with the region and shares the stories behind every glass. Our head chef Gerli Travkin has created a family-style menu paired with a selection of South African w**es.

The evening opens at 19:00 with an artist talk by Lebohang Kganye, hosted by Elo Aun. It closes with an exclusive tour of her exhibition “Le Sale ka Kgotso”, led by the artist herself, before it opens to the public.

Avame Lõuna-Aafrika Vabariigist pärit kunstniku Lebohang Kganye näituse. Niivõrd rikka kultuuriga paiga puhul on paslik avada sama piirkonna joogi- ja toidukultuuri rütmis.

ARTIST DINNER saab alguse 5. novembril 20.00 Fotografiska restoranis.

Lisaks kunstnikule liitub meiega sel õhtul ka veiniasjatundja Vaho Klaamann, keda seob LAViga 35 aasta pikkune ajalugu. Seetõttu on temast saanud tõenäoliselt eriliseim, põnevaim ja aktuaalseim LAVi veiniportfelli kokkupanija mitte ainult Eestis, vaid ka terves Euroopas.

Veinivalikuga haakuva toidumenüü eest kannab hoolt Fotografiska peakokk Gerli Travkin.

Tegu on näituse avamise eelõhtuga, mil see avaneb vaid õhtusöögi külastajaile.

This Friday and Saturday, our Latvian friends from Truff Le Pig bring a taste of Riga to Fotografiska restaurant.

And since Truff Le Pig wouldn’t quite be Truff Le Pig without the right atmosphere, there’s more coming over from Riga than the team itself.

Behind the decks, DJ Toms, Gusts & Mixmaster Raitis bring their vinyl collection and Riga’s finest sounds, spinning records:

Truff Le Pig, will move into the Fotografiska restaurant and bar (Oct 30, 18:00–1:00 & Oct 31 12:00–18:00).

Serious w**e, unserious food and a laid-back atmosphere. Head chef Dzintars Kristovskis brings along Truff Le Pig’s playful world of fancy junk food – familiar comfort food with the quality dialled up and a few unexpected twists thrown in.

The restaurant DJ booth belongs to Latvian DJs and friends of Truff, Toms, Gusts & Mixmaster Raitis, who arrive with a suitcase full of vinyl and some of Riga’s finest sounds.

Sügise värvipott on jõudnud kirkaimasse kooslusse ja aeg on sellest viimast võtta. 24. oktoobril kl 11–16 haarame kõrvitsad kaenlasse, pistame suve purki ning laseme tagatipuks pannakatel mõnusalt mekkida.
