The ducks are getting ready! 🐥🏁

We’re excited to be partnering with The Fluvarium once again for the 38th Annual Rennies River Duck Race! It’s a longstanding and fun community event that brings everyone together while supporting a great cause right here in our community.

On October 4th at noon, 4,800 yellow rubber ducks will make their way down Rennie’s River, all in support of the Quidi Vidi / Rennie’s River Development Foundation. Funds raised through the Duck Race help enhance the programs and experiences offered at The Fluvarium.

And if your duck is feeling especially speedy, there’s $4,500 in cash prizes up for grabs! 👀💰

🥇 1st — $2,500
🥈 2nd — $1,500
🥉 3rd — $500

🎟️ 1 ticket for $10 | 3 for $25

Pick up your tickets at The Taproom or The Fluvarium, get your lucky duck in the race, and come cheer them on October 4th!

Sunday afternoons are for kitchen parties.

Every Sunday, our friends at The Newfoundland Embassy gather around the table for a good old-fashioned Kitchen Party, and we’re proud to sponsor this weekly downtown tradition.

Ashwood Gardens will be holding court from 4–7pm, taking requests and playing everything from folk, rock and blues to pop, trad, and whatever else keeps the room going.
