I was very grateful to be part of Terry and Debbie's wedding and for their kind words.

"We feel so fortunate to have had Vicki officiate at our wedding. She is very professional, reliable, friendly, caring and compassionate. Her calm and peaceful demeanour made our wedding a beautiful event and we had lots of compliments from our friends and family. Vicki was able to guide us thoughtfully in preparing for our ceremony, even though we were in another country during the preparation time. She was very empathetic and considerate as we needed to include family via video link to be able to watch the ceremony. She explained things honestly and thoroughly and was open to answer all of our questions. She was incredibly supportive and continued to help us even after the events. Hello, we are Mike and Andrea (Czerniak) Erb. We wanted to share our recent experience with Vicki Jacobs.

We were married August 21st 2022, and we chose Vicki as our celebrant after meeting each other over coffee. We quickly realized during the conversation, that Vicki was perfect for our ceremony. She seemed to get us right away. We didn’t want a normal wedding, and Vicki was more than willing to participate in our Sunday afternoon cocktail party.
Andrea and I are not easy to deal with, in terms of time lines. We tend to wait until the last minute, and this never seemed to make Vicki flinch! She handled our unorganized style like no one else could. Fluid, and clearly experienced, Vicki gets you to the finish line, on the most important day of your life. Vicki takes the time to know you, and subsequently, able to officiate a ceremony as if she has been part of your lives for years. In fact, most people at our wedding assumed we know her for a time, and that is was “amazing to have a friend marry you”.
She is an absolute pro, who knows how to take control of a room, but never make themselves the center of attention. Vicki will always be part of our day, and for that we are grateful. Our wedding had rave reviews because of the laid back atmosphere, and there is no way it could have gone as well without her.

I'm not sure what I would have done without her guidance in establishing a well thought out programme of speakers, readers and music. Not having experienced this before, she was able to advise me in terms of content, timing and delivery. I was grateful to be able to work with a beautiful young couple, Geoff and Marie-Josée, to perform a ceremony formally welcoming their baby into the community. We structured it as a One Hundred Day Naming Ceremony, wherein they explained their choice of baby name to their family and friends, made vows to each other and their son about the kind of parents they want to be, and made their friends and family part of the ceremony since it really does take a village to raise a child. It was lovely.

From Marie-Josée: "Thoughtfully, personally, intentionally curated from start to finish: our baby naming ceremony was so special. From our very first meeting, we knew Vicki would ensure this celebration reflected our family values. Our 100 day old baby was welcomed into this community in the most loving fashion, and we've now got a well stuffed time capsule to prove it. Thank you Vicki for your time, attention and detail. It was perfect."
