A good friend introduced us to this amazing winery from the Ahr region in Germany. Wines that show personality, finesse, and straightforwardness, a winery where tradition meets modernity!

Just arrived in our cellar one of their Riesling, soon by the glass, and two Spatburgunder (pinot noir), of which one you can already taste by the glass 🍷 😉

Have you ever tried q Roussanne made in California? This wine by Holus Bolus Santa Barbara Hills, shows fresh citrus and herbal notes, white spices, a good balance and finesse! We loved it!! 😊

Here's our latest love!! The wines from Bodegas Mauro - Duero Valley - are characterized by elegance and precision.

Here we have a fantastic Godello, from Bierzo. Fresh, mineral, but with lots of body! Higly rated by the big shots critics.

Next to it we have the flagship wine Mauro, a blend of tempranillo (80%), with Syrah, Cab Sauv, and Graciano. Silky tannins, embracing fruits, and the aromatic power you seek and expect in a Duero wine! Top!

Sometimes you come across some surprising bottles, like this Dolcetto d'Alba by Aldo Conterno, from 1988 vintage!! What a splendid wine, perfectly kept, it still expresses lots of fruit flavour, a nice acidity and notes of mushrooms, forrest floor and wallnit husk oil! Top! 🍷🍷

Yann Bertrand, vigneron de grand talent, membre de la jeune génération du Beaujolais, est devenu une référence dans la région. Avec Tryptique il a eu l'occasion de se frotter à des raisins d'une autre région, très différents de son gamay habituel. Triptyque est en effet issu de cinsault, grenache et syrah, cédés par son ami Thibault Pfifferling, dans le but de réaliser sa version d'un Tavel. Et c'est une superbe réussite! Fruit splendide, fluidité, fraicheur, profondeur! Canon!
