New drop in from our mates H A R K H A M 🍷 in the Hunter Valley that you should try. Shibuya Meltdown 2025. 50% Pecorino, 50% Shiraz Rosé. Minimal intervention and preservative free, if that’s what you’re into.

It’s bright, crisp and super refreshing for spring, with notes of sour cherry, Pink Lady apple and strawberry.

Carlos Adura on drums, Freyja Garbett on keys and Michael Di Francesco (Touch Sensitive) on bass return to Franco’s Green Room every Thursday in September. Since first playing together at Franco, they’ve been popping up at gigs across the Illawarra and now officially go by Love Lock 🔥

Expect jazz, soul, funk and plenty of contemporary sounds thrown into the mix. Where they take it each Thursday? We’ll leave that up to them.

Performances begin at 6:30pm with two sets and a short break in between, so no matter what time you book, you’ll catch some live music over dinner.

If you’d like a table overlooking the musicians, we recommend booking the main dining room or bar area early. You’ll still be able to hear and enjoy the music throughout the entire venue.

Friday Sessions are all about having somewhere fun to go at the end of the working week. Franco pizza, pasta, good w**e and cocktails, with groovy tunes to soundtrack dinner and kick-start the weekend.

Every Friday in September, our resident local DJ Ned Atfield will be spinning from 6:30pm till late. Expect plenty from the disco kings and queens of the ’70s, mixed with more contemporary groovy tracks to have you moving in your seat.

Celebrating a birthday? Catching up with friends? Or just after a few drinks, snacks and some good music? Friday Sessions are a little something extra to make your Friday night at Franco more fun.

These sessions do get busy, so we suggest reserving a table online. Book from 7:30pm and your table is yours until close.
