Friday Night Member's night with 'The Ode', Members Draw and a great way to finish the working week. Saturday nights - the venue is available for hire for a great rate. Drink prices are as cheap as you will find anywhere in Perth. So come on down and enjoy one of the best kept secrets South of the River.

Prez’s Pen
As we head Full Steam ahead into the festive season the requirement for volunteers to assist has been at its peak with no rest between now and Xmas.
The last few months has seen the transformation of the function room and bar area into a modern sure will attract outside use and assist our revenue.
There is still plenty to do to ensure we are ready for our Xmas activities so If you have some spare time to assist please let me know.

The saddest part is we lost Robby a week after we finished the ceiling. Robby a specialist Ceiling Fitter was instrumental in hanging our new ceiling and will be sadly missed by the Dart Team and all around the club. RIP Robby.

November/December sees us busy with:
1. Remembrance Day Poppy Appeal at our normal venues Friday 6th.
2. Remembrance Commemorative Service in front of the Cenotaff Wednesday 11/11@1100hrs with by finger food and drinks upstairs.
3. Toy Cavalcade is back on this year please donate to assist Communicatee make Xmas a special time for those children less fortunate.
4. Kids Xmas Party Sunday 13th December 1100 - 1400hrs. Names can be placed on the list at the club.
5. Adults Xmas Party with live music Sunday 20th December till late. BYO food and dress in your best Chrissy Gear.
The club will be closed from Monday 21st December to Wednesday 6th January reopening Thursday 7th January.

This year we are welcoming back the Toy Cavalcade for Communicare and we need your help to raise much needed toy gifts and food baskets for those less fortunate this Christmas. Any and all donations will be much appreciated.

If you’re at the club speak to Ryan or the committee on how you can best help support this very worthy cause. Let’s dig deep everyone! Thank you.

🌹 REMEMBRANCE DAY 2026 🌹

The Riverton RSL Sub-Branch warmly invites all members, families and the wider community to join us this Remembrance Day as we pause to honour and remember those who have served, sacrificed and given their lives in service to our nation.

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we will come together to reflect on their courage, sacrifice and the freedoms we enjoy today.

🕚 Service commences at 11:00am sharp
📍 Riverton RSL – 153 High Road, Willetton

We kindly ask attendees to please assemble outside by 10:45am to ensure a prompt commencement of the service.

Following the ceremony, the Sub-Branch will be open for refreshments, and everyone is welcome to stay, share a drink and enjoy the company of fellow members and our local community.

—— CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT ——

As a result of the meeting on Wednesday night the committee has decided to cancel this year’s Melbourne Cup luncheon. Due to the current renovations and construction schedule it has been determined that the club will not be ready to host an event where the televisions and audio equipment will be required. There will be a review of the event for next year and the club would like to apologise for any inconvenience. Once again thank you for all your support.

Heaps has been happening in the club over the last month. AFL Grandfinal, renovations and Chase the Ace! The Ace is still sitting at $2000 and well overdue to be caught - so come on down! You have to be a member to qualify!

Another Thursday rolled around and the Ace - that’s sitting at a decent $2000 - escaped our clutches! Thankfully there were plenty of lucky cards numbers to share around.

The footy tipping has come and gone and our secretary Daniel took out the top prize this year, pinching the win in the final round in a very hard fought comp. As usual the side bet between John and Ryan - of who finishes higher gets to pick the losers drinking vessel for the following week - was on again. And this time John finally won. If you’d like to see Ryan (a freo supporter) in all west coast clobber and drinking out of a wc cup head down this Thursday night!

Coming up is the AFL Grandfinal. Plenty happening on the day with sweeps and wheels so come on down and join in all the fun. This is your RSL!
