May marks Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Prevention Month, and we continue to focus on building safer, more informed communities that provide safety for those who may need it.
Our newly released DFV Action Plan emphasises practical steps and DFV awareness, thereby improving the visibility of support and ensuring our venues provide safe, accessible pathways to help.
Through our recently launched Connected Communities Partnership initiative, weβre strengthening the support we provide to our communities with co-branded information packs. We also supported Purple Friday, Your local club initiative, highlighting the vital role of community efforts in prevention and support.
Our work is strengthened through the partnership with organisations delivering critical frontline services. We acknowledge the impact of groups such as Escabags Australia, DV Safe Phone, StandbyU Foundation, Harman Foundation, CatholicCare Sydney (Hope Program), Anglicare Sydney, Be Unstoppable Foundation Women's Housing, and House of Welcome.
