As part of our 16th Birthday releases, we have a very special single cask whisky coming from a Scottish distillery that has built something of a cult following over the years.

This was one of those samples that, when we tried it, we simply had to have it!

We’ll officially reveal and launch the bottle next Wednesday, before showcasing it for the first time at our 16th Birthday Whisky Night on 2nd October.

New Kanosuke whisky has landed.

Created to reflect the sprawling coast of Fukiagehama Beach in spring, the Kanosuke 2026 Limited Edition takes inspiration from the distillery’s coastal home in Kagoshima - from the changing seasons and sea breeze to the purple Hamago flowers that line the dunes.

The whisky brings together a selection of casks with additional maturation adding layers of fruit, sweetness and depth while retaining Kanosuke’s bright, elegant house style.

Our biggest Whisky Abbey line-up yet - bringing together an incredible mix of Australian and international whisky distilleries, independent bottlers and special guests for one massive weekend.

Whisky Abbey Destinations 2026 is shaping up to be our biggest festival ever, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have some of the biggest names in whisky joining us in Melbourne. We can’t wait to share more about the people, whiskies, activations and special releases coming to the festival as we get closer.

Did you know that once a month we host an Australian Whisky & Cheese Masterclass in the Lounge?

Each afternoon features five single cask Australian whiskies, including special releases and bottles from distilleries you don’t often get the chance to try, all paired with a selection of great Australian cheeses.
