Corowa sent us a bottle of their Dhungala Release Four, straight from the Murray River. Dhungala is the Bangerang word for the river, and Corowa releases a new expression under this name every year for their Wh**ky on the Murray festival.

Release Four spent its life in American oak ex Chardonnay casks. On the nose and palate you’ll find earthy peat and a soft apricot sweetness, finishing with to***co smoke and a savoury hint of smoked ham. 46% ABV. Rich, rounded, and genuinely different from anything else on our shelf right now.
