Some live potted Genovese Basil from Sunday. This is one of our favourite crops to grow, I think it has the lowest seed cost of almost any crop on a per tray basis its just so consistent ! It definitely likes warmth and appreciates a big drink, it's nearly like an aquatic. What's your favourite thing about basil, or what challenges do you face growing it ?

๐Ÿš€ ZERO $$$ DOWN FOR THE RIGHT PARTNERS ๐Ÿš€

We're looking for established operators who see the opportunity in building the next generation of local microgreens production.

For qualifying businesses generating a minimum of USD $500,000 in annual sales, we may offer partnership structures requiring:

โœ… $0 upfront technology fees
โœ… $0 upfront licence fees
โœ… $0 upfront consulting fees

We come to you.
We bring the technology.
We bring the systems.
We bring the implementation expertise.
We bring the ongoing innovation.

You bring local market knowledge, relationships, ex*****on capability and ambition.

๐ŸŒฑ More output per square metre
๐ŸŒฑ Lower operating costs
๐ŸŒฑ Labour-saving systems
๐ŸŒฑ Ongoing technology development
๐ŸŒฑ Aligned incentives โ€” we succeed when you succeed

โš ๏ธ Limited 2027 partner allocations available.

We're not looking for everyone.
We're looking for the right operators in the right markets.

If that sounds like you, let's talk.

๐Ÿš€ A few people have asked what sort of collaborative partner we're looking for as we move towards our first US farm.

The answer is pretty simple.

We're looking for great operators.
Not passive investors.
Not someone looking for a side hustle.
Not someone chasing a lifestyle business.

We're looking for people who see the scale of the opportunity and want to build something meaningful.

Ideally, that's an existing small-to-medium-sized business owner with some traction already.

Someone who has built relationships.
Someone who understands their local market.
Someone who knows how to look after customers.
Someone who can get things done.

You don't necessarily need the capital.
You don't necessarily need the facilities.
You don't necessarily need the infrastructure, systems or industry expertise.

That's where we come in.

What we're looking for is capability, commitment and alignment.

People who understand the value of efficient, productive technology.
People who appreciate systems.
People who believe local production can outperform centralised production in many markets.

Because that's exactly what we're building.

๐ŸŒฑ Local production.
๐ŸŒฑ Local relationships.
๐ŸŒฑ Local operators.
๐ŸŒฑ National scale.

Our view is that a network of local farms, operated by people embedded in their communities, can compete extremely effectively against large centralised growing facilities supplying national distribution networks.

Freshness matters.
Service matters.
Relationships matter.

The model isn't purely wholesale.
It's a balanced mix of:

โœ… Direct-to-end-user sales
โœ… Hospitality
โœ… Retail
โœ… Selected wholesale accounts

Diversified.
Resilient.
Local.

As for the partnership itself, we'd ideally like to spend some time working together before making a long-term commitment.

One pathway could involve a US-based operator bringing us into their existing business on an E3 visa for a period of time, allowing us to work side-by-side while exploring a future E2 investor visa pathway and larger business opportunity together.

It gives you the opportunity to get to know us.

And us the opportunity to get to know you. Because business partnerships are built on trust, not spreadsheets.

We're looking for people with roots in their community.

People who intend to stay.

People with local connections.

People with a strong work ethic.

People who are respectful, professional and easy to work with.

The business matters.

The relationship matters more.

We're prepared to commit significant capital, time, expertise, infrastructure, systems, training and ongoing support.

In return, we're looking for partners who bring local knowledge, commitment, capability and ambition.

Could we build another operation from the ground up ourselves?
Absolutely.

We've already done it multiple times in Australia. And if we don't find the right partner, that's exactly what we'll do. But we'd much rather build alongside exceptional people.

For larger operators who can bring substantial resources, infrastructure, market access and operational capability to the table, we're open-minded.

In the right circumstances, licensing or other strategic partnership models may make sense.

The stronger the partner, the more flexible the structure.

The goal isn't one farm.

The goal is a network of farms.

A network of owner-operators sharing knowledge, benefiting from ongoing innovation and building something much bigger than any one location could achieve alone.

If this resonates with you, or someone you know, we'd love to start a conversation.

๐Ÿš€ Someone recently discovered what AI can do with images. The interesting part? This concept isn't just a rendering โ€” it's very close to what our next production facility will actually look like.

This room will be packed with the next generation of our vertical farming technology, currently being manufactured in China and destined for the USA.

Now we're looking for the right partner.

We're seeking an experienced owner-operator with an established small-to-medium-sized business who wants to be part of something bigger.

What we bring:
โœ… Facility lease
โœ… Complete internal fit-out
โœ… Plumbing & electrical
โœ… Equipment & supplies
โœ… Vehicle
โœ… GAP certification
โœ… On-site support team
โœ… Two experienced staff to help launch operations
โœ… Proven systems from our Melbourne operation
โœ… A facility capable of USD500k output
โœ… Additional capital available for expansion

Our goal is simple: build it, launch it, help make it successful, hand over the keys, and repeat.

Target launch: Early 2027.

Who wants to build the future of fresh food with us? ๐Ÿค”

We are so fortunate and incredibly grateful for our association with Flowerdale farms, they have been going since 1983 and have an incredible reputation here in Melbourne for high standards and quality. I took a punt 1 morning at an ungodly hr, drove out in the freezing cold, presented myself and a sample and ultimately enough to compel them to give us a chance - having a great grow facility which they visited helped. When a big client see's you're serious - doors of opportunity open. Hereโ€™s but a single drop to them. We are but one of their network of growers for a wide range of fresh produce that are sold from the quite amazing hub that is the Melbourne markets where the vast majority of fresh produce for the entire state is delivered. They expect excellence and we do our best to step up. Who are your biggest customers and whats your story behind landing them ? ๐Ÿ™„

Getting up close and personal to Green Mizuna. How are the serrations ! At 12 cents in AUD per tray in seed cost its almost like the seed is free. On a biomass relative to seed cost/time to grow metric I dont think it can beat. Is there anything that gives more bang for buck ? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Swiss Chard side view, again using this phenemonal seed. I really should buy some extra of this seed because it is the absolute bomb. Some seed, its just special. Now who can guess right - is this a live potted crop or is it a 1020 tray tray grown for our cut mix ? ๐Ÿค”

The nearly legendary blue seeded Swiss Chard. Seems I'm not the only one who think its just the bomb and left long enough in germ, nearly all the hulls dissapear. It gets a big tick from us because not only the grow rate is phenemonal - these are seeded up just 10 days ago - but for its vibrant red stems and great yield. Do you grow Chard ? ๐Ÿ˜€

The mighty Green Mizuna this week is looking splendid ! We load our mix with this always, because its a super fast and easy varietyto grow, plus we love the serrated leaves, it adds some features to our mix versus the usually rounded cotyledons of most Brassicas. The seed must one of the cheapest, too. Do you grow it and if not - why not ? ๐Ÿค”

Red Cabbage looking a treat for todays cut mix. Its hard to go wrong with red cabbage, it is such a great crop to grow - easy, fast, consistent. In this image we have 3 of our trays each loaded with 4 x 1020's. Do you notice the odd feral seed in the mix ? ๐Ÿค”

29/08/2026

A small but meaningful win for us - we discovered some black trays that fit like a glove in our custom made white trays! This will almost completely eliminate the algae growth that grows in the void spaces that standard 1020's leave. We're soon moving to a 3cm wider white tray too, to completely take up the space between the uprights in our grow rack and by sheer coincidence the manufacturer of the black trays also offer a 3cm longer tray too !
All part of the refinement and evolution of our grow tech to maximise efficiency, and just one of around 6 changes to our grow racks we're working on in the background.
I am personally really excited to be taking things to the next level, turning thoughts into physical reality - if what you see now impresses, I can guarantee the next evolution will be a significant leap from here.
Envision this ; no manual watering, larger grow area per level within same foot print, using less power, lower shelf heights, more levels (our Aluminium racking system is well up to the task being substantially over enginnered for just a 10 level rack), no coco or soil media (although, you could), a lower profile growing tray system (every millimetre counts), a unique never before seen 1st of its kind drainage system with not an elbow or hose clamp to be used, with our unique and proprietary end only slide out tray access ultility retained.
It's going to be epic. All part of the vision to leverage technology to improve efficiency enabling reduced end product price points being achievable to provide a competitive edge in the market place - enough we believe to keep us far enough of the curve so when the day the big money arrives into the microgreens business marketplace - and its coming - that we remain a competitive force.
Its not our plan to sell this technology - we could but we're choosing a different pathway, one with a longer but more profitable pay off. It is our plan to expand globally and we will very definitely be looking for partner operators in the US initially as we progress our vision of a network of farms, ultimately to become the largest single microgreens producer globally. Hey we might not achieve that but were going to give it a crack anyways.
Keep following if you think you'd like to become a part of that vision.
Thanks for the support, the likes, the love, the insights you share with us and the odd share of our posts (do more of that!! It helps us build a network of followers, amongst them some like minded microgreens entrepreneurs who see merit in partnering with us vs going it alone) We're culturing a unique value proposition we'll soon be sharing โค๏ธ

Things that make you go hmmm. Day 3 from seed. 8 grams a tray. All seeded the same day. 3 different methods. I would have struggled to believe there could be such a difference unless I witnessed it myself and Ive been growing for a long time. You can imagine the affect on the days to harvest metrics ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
