The Northcote community perfectly mirrors Melbourne's love for Tuscan food and wine through its unique blend of post-war Italian heritage and its modern, trendy neighbourhood wine bar scene. Northcote along with other inner city suburbs welcomed waves of Italian immigrants in the 1950s and 60s.
