When the head chef takes quality control a little too seriously… 🥩😂

Can’t really blame him though. Our Raise the Steaks nights are all about quality beef, including locally raised, grass-finished Angus from our mates at Willowvale Farm, just around the corner from us.

From their paddocks to our kitchen, and apparently straight into our head chef’s mouth.

There’s a looot that happens before a steak hits the grill!

Every Friday night at our farm venue in Metricup, we Raise the Steaks. But behind what ends up on the plate is a whole chain of local people, produce and relationships.

Some of our beef comes from cattle raised right here in our own paddocks, with more sourced locally from Willow Vale Farm.

From paddock to butcher, through our kitchen and onto the grill, knowing where our food comes from matters to us.

Working locally takes planning, logistics, communication and good relationships with the people producing our food. But for us, that’s all part of it!

THE FARMIES 2026 🤎

Once a year, the whole Beerfarm circus rolls back into the South West.

Beerfarmers from up north, the east coast, the brewery, the venue, the paddocks, the office, everyone back together in the original shed for one night of good times, dancing, cold beers and celebrating what’s been one hell of a good year for Beerfarm.

We also took a moment to recognise some absolute legends across the business with our annual staff awards. The kind of people who go above and beyond, keep the wheels turning, solve problems before anyone notices them, and help make this place what it is.

Pretty bloody special to look around the room and realise how many good humans are behind this thing.

Beerfarm, Metricup is a dogfriendly venue. Dogs are welcome here at the venue, inside and out! We do ask that you keep your furry friend on a lead at all times while visiting the venue. And please clean up after them.
